David Voorhees

David has spent more than 30 years working in clay and teaching. As the son of two professional painters he has spent much of his ceramics career developing underglaze painting techniques on wheel-formed porcelain pottery. An interest in world cultures and indigenous pottery has exposed him to many clay forming and decorating approaches for his further study. Working locally with private summer camps further broadens his repertoire of the possibilities of clay.
