BASKETRY

At North House Folk School we offer coursework in a wide variety of basketry styles including coiled, stake and strand, plaited and woven, to name just a few. We focus on materials that can be easily gathered in Northern forests such as birch bark, red osier dog wood, willow, black ash, cattail, pine needle, and sweet grass.
