BOATBUILDING

At North House Folk School we offer many classes involving the traditional watercraft of the North - kayaks, canoes, prams and umiaks. Take a course and build your own Inuit skin-on-frame kayak, cedar strip kayak or canoe, Norse, Swedish or nutshell pram, Susan skiff, birch bark canoe, or wood canvas canoe with our experienced instructors.
