MUSIC & STORIES

Welcome to North House Folk School's Music page. Music has traditionally been important in cultures of the North. Each fall we host an annual celebration of music called Unplugged, which offers opportunities to take music-related coursework with an impressive slate of nationally known performers. Other craft coursework opportunities include ukulele building and carving a cedar hand drum.

Going hand in hand with music is the ancient art of storytelling. Sharing stories through the generations is an essential skill, and our variety of writing and story-telling courses will assist you in sharing your stories with your family and the world.
