Aboard  The  Schooner

Star Tribune: Best Way to Sail Lake Superior 2013

sail on Lake Superior aboard North House schooner Hjørdis - a 50' traditionally rigged schooner.  Her classic lines, striking colors and double-gaff rigged sails are an iconic presence on the Grand Marais harbor. Even better than watching her from the shore is spending time aboard out on the water!

The Hjørdis will be active on the Grand Marais harbor from late May through early October.  The boat is used for both daily sailing excursions and for single and multi-day sailing courses.  Follow the links below to learn more!
