Volunteer &
Service Learning Weekend
April 17-19, 2015

Learn a new skill and leave a legacy!
Help make North House a better place to be a student.

It takes many hands to make a folk school, and our Volunteer & Service Learning Weekend is your chance to pitch in. Journey North April 17-19 and help us air
out campus after a long winter. Options include taking part in volunteer
projects outlined below, or taking a reduced tuition-rate Service Learning Course (see below). Here’s to the first sign of spring – airing out the House!

SERVICE LEARNING COURSES:

A great way to learn new skills while also helping North House is by participating in any of the Service Learning courses during the weekend:

- Tools for the Shop: Service Learning in the Blacksmith Shop
- Sawhorses for the Shop: Service Learning in the Woodshop

VOLUNTEER PROJECTS
Volunteer projects will take place April 17 and 18. Project planning is underway. Lunch will be provided both Friday and Saturday, as well as a pizza potluck to close out the weekend on Saturday evening. Please RSVP with Volunteer Coordinator Matt at mnesheim@northhouse.org or call 218.387.9762.
