Learn a new skill and leave a legacy!

Help make North House a better place to be a student.

It takes many hands to make a folk school, and our Volunteer & Service Learning Weekend is your chance to pitch in. Journey North and help us air
out campus after a long winter. Options include taking part in volunteer
projects outlined below, or taking a reduced tuition-rate Service Learning Course (see below). Here’s to the first sign of spring – airing out the House!

SERVICE LEARNING COURSES:

A great way to learn new skills while also helping North House is by participating in any of the Service Learning courses during the weekend:

- Service Learning Project: Adirondack Chair Building

VOLUNTEER PROJECTS

Volunteer projects will take place April 21-23. We’ll hit the ground running on Friday with projects of all sizes – from emptying the office, to painting classroom floors, to carting desks across the street. Lunch will be provided Friday, Saturdays well as a pizza potluck on Saturday evening. Please RSVP with Program Coordinator Matt at mnesheim@northhouse.org or call 218-387-9762 by Friday, April 1.
