Featured Speaker
"Lake Superior to the Pacific Ocean: 7 Months in a Birch Bark Canoe" with Dan Blessing. On May 5, 2010, Dan Blessing and Marc Vangrinsven left Grand Portage, Lake Superior with seven canvas portage packs, three paddles, two fishing poles, ninety pounds of wild rice, two white-tailed deer, and one handcrafted birch bark canoe. With just the right balance of research and naïveté to get them out the door, they were bound for the Pacific Ocean. Read more and see descriptions of all the speakers at Wooden Boat Show here.
