Finger Crocheted Blanket: Online Course

Course Overview

How wonderful to have a new creative hobby that also will keep you warm and cozy! Learn the very simple craft of finger crochet in this online workshop. All you'll need is yarn and you'll be off to the races on this blanket project in no time. Teri will teach the basics of finger crochet techniques including how to start, add rows, and finish. You won't finish your whole blanket in this class, but you'll get a good start and feel confident about how to finish it on your own, including the secret to perfect tassels. Beginners encouraged!

Required Tools

  • Twelve skeins size 6 bulky yarn. Instructor prefers Wool Ease Thick and Quick brand, but any washable, anti-pilling yarn in size 6 bulky will work. (Michael's website runs specials on 12 packs)
  • Scissors
  • Large yarn needle or a hair clip (used for sewing ends)
  • Laptop or tablet with reliable internet connection
