In this course, students can discover the beauty and flexibility of willow barks and weaving on a molded form. There is a shimmer and strength in the natural harvest, a chance to incorporate the unique subtleties of nature. Explore forming a base, twining, simple weave to a shapely contour. Become familiar with border options and finish techniques. Great fun for all levels and a glowing treasure on your table! Extra materials will be available for purchase after class--you will want to make more! Students ages 14 and up are welcome.
