Start strumming! Build your own sustainable stringed instrument by repurposing what you already have (ahem, some might call it junk) into a tool for joyful noise-making. By constructing simple instruments out of commonly found objects, we will explore recycling, lutherie (making stringed instruments), and community by working together and playing together. There will be a variety of levels of difficulty to choose from so that adults and children of many ages can experience success in making a stringed instrument.

Parents are welcome to bring one child age 7+ and build one project together for a single tuition, or children ages 12+ may attend on their own.
